Algernon Disapproves I’m sure these drops would be great if I could get my guinea pig to consume them. As soon as I put these drops in his water bottle he would no longer drink out of it. After two days of becoming more and more concerned with him not drinking I cleaned the water bottle out and did not put anymore drops in and he is back to drinking just fine. I understand the importance of giving guinea pigs Vitamin C but I also understand the importance of hydration. I am looking into different ways to ensure…

Runny nose GONE I don’t put this in his water, they need the water to be fresh. Instead, I put 2 drops directly in his mouth, followed by a small slice of grape. After a few times of this, he got the idea and will now try to put his mouth on the bottle as you get it ready! So even if they don’t like at first, follow with a small bite of a favorite sweet thing like a grape or pineapple – just not too much, they can become diabetic, it’s only for the taste and a reward. Works great for my cat, per vet recommendation My vet recommended adding this to my cat’s prescription food to see if their would be marked improvements in his urinalysis.
