Bigger than expected! I purchased this for my hamster so she could run around however my son decided it was his the moment I took it out. It is big enough to be a toddler play area/ball pit as you can see in the photos. It comes in a small package and pops out into the cage. The fabric is easy to clean (my son decided to throw a half eaten raspberry in there) and it was easier than I expected to put back into the case. I may have to purchase another one for my hamster.
