Not great for hamsters… Was super hopeful for this cage but have been disappointed. Itâs really too big for a hamster. I have a hairless Syrian hamster and I had to reinforce all of it with zip ties because the gaps between panels were too large. I donât like that the top barely rests on the bottom dish, one bump and it becomes detached. Does not feel very safe or secure for her. Also the âstairsâ or ramps are so steep she struggles to climb them. Trying to make due until I can find a better cage more suitable for…

Its adaquite for the price Not as solid as I would hope for. I bought it for rats. So water bottle and wheel are to small which is ok. Took forever to put together. Once everything is in place it is sturdier than I thought. I do not recommend taking apart to clean as it is so hard to line up on base
