Looks Good but Not Big Enough for more than 1 Bunny I like how the hutch looks but once we got it put together I realized that it wasn’t what I was expecting. The over all space is very small for 2 rabbits and all their needed necessities, which in the description I believe it stated that it cld fit up to 3 or 4 rabbits. I am thinking about opening it up and just using it for 1 of my rabbits so they have more room to move around. I also don’t like that the slide out bottoms for the inside hideaway area is just a piece of painted plyboard which…
Bunz is luving her new hutch and so do we:) Purchased for a single, Lion-head house rabbit who luvs to roam. The hutch delivery was ahead of schedule and undamaged . The product packaging was well done and there was a refreshing scent of pine from the wood. Assembly took about 40 minutes and no power tools were required. The paper directions outline the steps clearly but the was some confusion as the parts are not labeled to be able to relate to the directions. In the end the interior sliding panels as installed, are backwards,…
Even Rottweilers like it! Product is fine for a small pet enclosure. I’d suggest pre drilling screw holes to prevent the wood from splitting. I also used a wood glue on all joints and took care NOT to over tighten the screws. It went together in less than 1/2 hour. I’m going to add a lock to the top as our rabbit has already figured out how to open it by lifting his head. Of course, our rabbit thinks he’s a rottweiler, so he may be a bit more aggressive than the average bunny 🙂
