I returned this so fast your head would spin. I bought the cage as an upgrade for my rat, it came in a neat tote and even had a small gift included, and that when the pros stop. The cage was impossible to get together and kept folding in on itâs self. I had to get zip ties to get the cage to say together and it is extremely small. Not enough room for one rat. The bottom section is totally closed off and you have no way to pick up your pet when they down there which can lead to issues when trying to clean the cage. I do not recommend this…
I returned it. This is difficult to review as we returned it. The bottom portion is plastic-like the plastic storage bins you use for holiday ornaments. The one we received was cracked. My son (14) had difficulty putting it together and when I saw the crack I told him to forget it-it was being returned.It looked like it would be nice if we had been able to assemble it properly and it wasnât cracked.
Not for hamsters The floor of this cages is too big for our little hamster feet. We purchased the foam pads to put over the grate and it was chewed up before the first cage cleaning. The cage was very difficult to put together. Bars were bent and didn’t fit together right. Cage is very messy with bedding falling out of the sides onto the floor. Do not recommend.
