Yes they need to check for the yellow gasket. Ideally, they fill completely full, tighten cap, BEFORE, turning over to hang they should squeeze bottle slightly and force a small spurt of water out. Then turn over to hang. It is very important that the support wire and the bail wire are both used. If a customer just rests on a wire there is too much weight on the neck of cap and it will allow air in.”

Nice bottle, however…. This bottle holds plenty of water and is sturdy, but leaks because there’s no rubber gasket in the screw top (or maybe the ones I received just didn’t come with these) I’ve bought 2 of these over the past year; the first one worked for a while but started to leak so I bought another one. Neither had a rubber gasket included, so you’ll need to get a 1.5″ flat rubber washer from the plumbing department (see picture) and it fits perfectly, creating a water-tight seal. Leaks horribly Im not one to believe a few stray reviews but you should listen to them in this case. I been using water feed bottles for 30 plus years and had a few hard to seal but this is next to impossible. Within a couple days all the water will be in the cage. This is the single worst bottle I have ever used as far as leaking. Is truly a nice large bottle but all that capacity dont do squat if the water leaks out everytime you fill it.
