Great Value and Capacity I run a small animal rescue and I use these for all of my chinchillas (currently 8) and rats (currently 19). They could plausibly also be used for rabbits just fine, but I personally prefer to use stoneware bowls for my rabbits to encourage adequate water consumption.These bottles are low-cost enough that I can order many of them to have in store for future animals, and easily have two bottles per enclosure for each of my chinchillas and rats. Leaks Incessantly This water bottle looks great and would be my first choice between the bottles that I have, my hedge especially loves the size! Unfortunately, it leaks from the ball and cannot be stopped. I thought maybe it was just the one I was originally sent, but even after receiving a replacement the second bottle leaked too. Flooded rat cage we bought this for my son’s rat because we were leaving town for a week and didnt want him to run out of water… the very first night something happened and all the water came out (not sure why). We didnt explore to much since we were out the door and just put a big dish of extra water in his cage. May be a fluke?
