DO NOT BUY DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I bought this for my chinchilla as a chew toy. This is THE ONLY toy he had in his cage within the last 48 hours. He broke the toy apart, and choked on a piece of the toy and died. Mind you i did take the toy out so he couldn’t chew on it anymore. He had already swallowed a piece that pierced his insides. Thanks Kaytee for killing my chinchilla. Fix your damn product so it doesn’t fall apart and kill animals. We’ll see what customer support says when i call them.
POTENTIAL HEALTH RISK? Not worth the doubt. When I received this product, there was VISIBLE glue (looked like hot glue) gooped between the wooden shapes and the lava block. It was applied messily and carelessly and immediately raised concern regarding my pet potentially ingesting it. I tried to research if this glue was safe if swallowed, but I found nothing, even after trying to contact KAYTEE directly. Highlight of Guinea piggies day! Perfect Guinea pig toy. Their favorite hands down. All of the spaces makes hanging it a breeze or you can just leave it on the ground and they chew it and crawl over it. It seems to make a difference in their teeth by keeping them filed down. I am ordering more to place in different parts of their habitat. The construction is solid and the colors are bright.
