One of the best pellets out there for young guinea pigs (under 6 months of age) I got this for my guinea pig who was estimated to be under 6 months at the time. I am happy with this new guinea pig food I am happy with this new guinea pig food. The guinea pigs are not enjoying it as much as they were when they had a colorful junk food that my daughter bought them. I am assuming this is much more nutrient dense, healthy food. I think with time the guinea pigs will end up doing very well, but like with children and just takes adjusting when they are used to having junk food. They seem to have energy and not as ravenous when we go to feed them which means that it is probably more nutritious.
