Guinea Pig Trap 🙁 I used this for my two guinea pigs and would not reccomend it for any small /baby guinea pig owner. I found my poor Theo dead this morning. He had gotten his head stuck between the metal bars of the hay feeder and couldn’t get unstuck. The other parts are fine, but if bought I would reccomend taking the back piece off.
Love it! My guinea pigs love it too! My guinea pigs love this hideout! It fits one chubby guinea pig at a time. The food dish is very wide and good for vegetables. I took off one star because my pigs keep lifting the hay rack out and making a mess of the hay. I have yet to figure out a way to prevent the pigs from removing the hay rack.
Wheel too small for Larger Hamsters Overall I really like this product. Our teddy bear hamster loves the tree stump. It’s large enough for him to use as his nest comfortably. The bowl is a decent size and holds plenty of food for the day. The only part we could not use is the wheel. It is VERY small. Our hamster could not even fit in it. If you have a very tiny dwarf hamster, it may work but it is not okay for larger hamsters.
