Superior bowl choice for guinea pigs In less than 6 months I have chipped/cracked 3 ceramic bowls used to feed my 2 guinea pigs. Total investment: $10-12. Two were purchased on Amazon; the other at the local pet store. I bought one STAYbowl to try it out. Initial investment: $13. Despite the higher initial cost vs. ceramic, STAYbowl is an excellent solution for my piggies, who are not necessarily bowl-tippers. The bowl is sturdy, perfectly sized for the guinea pig physique and holds just the right amount of pellets for daily…

He would put his front two paws on the bowl in an attempt to hoist himself up (I’m speculating here) and then tip it over. This bowl is short enough that he can easily drink, and he stands on the base part while doing so, making it very difficult to tip (I think I just heard him mutter “challenge accepted”…)I was concerned that it wouldn’t be enough water, but let’s be honest, he’s…

He would eat then flip it over still half full of food. This bowl looks like it would do the trick and be nice and stable, but it was no match for our guinea pig! He flipped it over the very first day. I do like how low it is and that it holds just the right amount of food, but here I am back on amazon looking for another bowl to try…
