A little messy I got this food at Petco when I first purchased my guinea pigs and they were picky as youngsters and picked the pellets out of the fruit and extras. I always wanted to try it again now that they’re older so to avoid Walmart, I got it as a special treat for them. Now they’re almost 3 and they pick out all the good stuff and leave the pellets ironically lol they dig in the bowl for it and make a huge mess so I probably won’t purchase it again as so much went to waste when sweeping up their cage…

Didn’t Agree With Our Guinea Pigs Based on the great reviews for this, we tried this food mix for our guinea pigs and they ate it right up, but it gave them continual runs and the stench from their cage was terrible. We used it for a couple days before I realized what was likely the problem. We stopped giving them this mix and they went back to normal. Excited Piggies Searching the Bowl for Goodies My young cavies love it. There are lots of pellets, which is good because that should be the main diet, and there are plenty of seeds, fruit and other mix ins that the piggies love to hunt for in their bowl. They run screaming for the bowl once it’s poured and will holler at me whenever the bowl gets below halfway. Beyond romaine lettuce, this is their favorite. My two girls do a good job of eating it all in balance, although the dried banana is not their favorite, but then I don’t spoil them…
