Apple branches were moldy!!! Inspect before giving to critters! The apple branches were moldy! These arrived today, and the box wasn’t sitting out in the elements or got wet in any way. I’ve gotten these before with no issues, so I started pitching them to bunnies. I’d already given them to one rabbit, who checked it out right away, before I noticed. Glued together This seller states that these toys are natural, not really when they are put together with hot glue and other kinds of adhesives. Itâs extremely dangerous for your small pet to ingest this.. Iâll be contacting amazon directly about this. I absolutely would not recommend.
Don’t leave your bunnies alone with these The biggest deal is that most of these toys are glued. My plan was to only let them play with them under supervision (and until I could order more quality toys in!). I kept most of them out of the cage but assumed I could leave the rope and blocks in the cage as long as they were regularly inspected.Overnight, the block landed in the water bowl and wet white glue leached out onto the surface.
