Great for rats! Great cage! It’s a lot bigger than I thought it would be but that’s not a bad thing. I have 2 rats living in there and they love it. I cut a plastic placemat in half & used metal rings to hold them on the cage so they don’t slip & slide & they work great (so they don’t have to walk on bars all the time). Some were bent and one was broken off the top plus the ledges and ramps are little squares that little rat feet can fall into and get hurt if not careful.Although the cage is really big and the cheapest around my town.
