Good quality food for the hungry piggies! Our fat boys love this food and give it however many thumbs they have up. Actually that is not true. Their first love is salad, which they will pretend they have never eaten and whine for 30 seconds after they finish it, followed by hay (just the flowers, please, the rest can will just be scattered everywhere), and then this food if there is absolutely nothing else to eat. That said, this is supposed to be the best, and Larry and Gilly deserve it because they do such a good job…

Cavy and vet approved This is the only food i will feed my cavies because it doesn’t have alfalfa in it. I have an American Guinea pig and a Cuy and they both love this food. It’s not full of the unhealthy multi-colored additives that other foods have that aren’t healthy for your piggies. My vet recommended only Timothy pellets especially for my cuy to keep him healthy and at an appropriate weight so this does the trick!

My vet recommended this brand because one of my pigs is diabetic … My vet recommended this brand because one of my pigs is diabetic and can’t have pellets with added sugar. I’m not sure why anyone would add sugar to guinea pig pellets, but that’s only one of the unhealthy ingredients that is added to most of the lower quality brands. I also learned that alfalfa is not good for your adult pigs but most brands use it because it’s cheaper. Alfalfa should only be fed to young pigs. This brand has been great for my pigs, and the diabetic one hasn’t had any issues…
