Great except for the floor tray. This is a very well made cage. Once assembled, it doesn’t have any parts that feel loose. Assembly was pretty easy and took about 20 minutes. I did have an issue with a couple walls not fitting together, but a few hits with a rubber mallet forced them into place. It’s bigger than I thought it would be too. Awesome cage. Use a mixing tub if you want deep litter trays. Very sturdy and the doors make it so much easier to clean than my old cage. Use a cement mixing tub from Home Depot if you want a really deep cage pan. I don’t know the item number, but there are only a couple, look for the one that’s the same dimensions as the cage, then trim 1/2″ of plastic around the rim and it fits perfect.
Price is worth the time you’ll save cleaning it I’ve had other cages in the past but this is by far the easiest to clean. Most cages have very small doors that are impossible to maneuver around and plastic shelves that clip on that you have to fight with to remove for cleaning. The fact that the double wide doors open up all the way and the shelves aren’t clip-ons makes cleaning go a lot faster. I own 2 of the 63″ tall Critter Nations (one for male rats, the other for females) and to deep clean both of them it takes about 3 hours. That…
