Leaks past the ball bearing Ordered this for my guinea pig. The next morning the bottle was completely empty and the cage was soaked. So I filled it up and watched a continuous drip from around the ball bearing. Amazon sent another one right out and when I filled it the same thing happened. Amazon was great about trying to rectify the problem but this product is just poorly made. Sending the second one back. Don’t waste your money it appears to be a product defect as a whole.

To stop drips The reason I read Amazon reviews is because you can LEARN there – real world experience from users is invaluable. As far as these bottles are concerned, I read that the trick is to fill the bottle COMPLETELY – then squeeze out any residual air while you turn the bottle over, creating a slight vacuum (gravity will still put ball #1 at the nipple).
