OUR GUINEA PIG PASSED AWAY FROM THIS BALL My 13 year old son’s guinea pig, Bruce, became very sick 2 days following receipt of this willow ball. We rushed him to the vet and she wasn’t sure what the problem was but put him on a yogurt/spinach diet because he hadn’t had a bowel movement in almost 24 hours. Guinea Pig Owners Beware!!! We have four guinea pigs and they all loved these. We’ve been buying these for months and then today I woke up and found one of our guinea pigs with part of the ball wrapped tightly around her body. Nice, but What’s the Smell? Hey, Lena’s daughter here! I ordered this for my guinea pig Caramel, a petite female Abyssinian. I received it today, and immediately opened up the package. The box it was shipped in had evidence of a few small twigs being shed from the ball, but that I suppose that is to be expected as there is no glue used. The ball is aroud 4″ x 4″, as stated.
