Came as shown, limited utility It’s a good product if your pet loves to chew, unfortunately, the two guniea pigs I’ve had (and seemingly guinea pigs in general) don’t really care to chew wood blocks, and rather prefer to chew timothy grass and cubes. I like Kaytee, they make safe, affordable pet products, but unless your pig is really into chewing I wouldn’t bother.However, for a guinea pig, I would say hard biscuit/cookie type treats and timothy cubes (all sold by Kaytee) would be a good way to keep their teeth…
Chew betcha. Guinea pigs are notoriously tough to please and have high standards. Because of their student loans our guinea pigs still live with us and we keep them out of trouble by purchasing chew toys. They chewed on these with the determination and intensity worthy of their status.
Perfect Addition to Any Cage I bought two of these chewy toys for my daughter’s Guinea pigs. I hung one on either end of their cage. So far, the less shy one has bumped them with her nose out of curiosity. I am sure that they will both chew on them in no time since they end up demolishing every wooden chew that they get. These were a really great price and value. My daughter loves that they say “Guinea Pig” on the bottom cone-shaped piece. I will definitely buy again.
