Perfect for My Old Man Rat Iâve got an old man rat whoâs 2 years, 7 months old, who suffers from hind leg paralysis. I ordered him the size Medium which is pretty good, but I may order him the Large next time because I feel it would work a little better. Itâs good to have a backup anyway for when one is being washed. Heâs never been a chewer, so I donât have to worry about that. Destroyed after one wash. I thought this product was going to be great. When I first put them in the cage the guinea pigs loved them. Then after 1 wash, as they are machine washable according to the product description, they are now useless. All of the stuffing is either broken down or pushed to one side. There are completely stuffing-less areas in the product now. I really wanted these to work out but sadly they were a waste of my money.
2 washes I ordered this pad for added comfort for my guinea pig in her house, as something to sleep on. Initially, out of the package, it wasn’t as fluffy as someone would imagine when buying something new, and it kind of looked as if someone produced this product with a cheap material of fabric.
